Celebrate Earth Day at the Arboretum with our Learning by Leading Museum Education interns and the UC Master Gardeners of Yolo County for interative tours of the Arboretum’s Environmental GATEway!

These 45-minute tours will introduce participants to the Arboretum’s collections, programs, and history. Student interns will guide attendees through the Hummingbird GATEway Garden, Peter J. Shields Oak Grove, and our Ruth Risdon Storer Garden – a gorgeous demonstration garden featuring low-water plants perfect for our Central Valley climate. On each tour, a Master Gardener will be available to answer questions related to sustainable home gardening.

Tours begin at the Arboretum Gazebo at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and 12 p.m.
