Tea & Conversations: Special tea cupping event

May 21, 2017 @ 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Wyatt Deck

Love tea? Learn all about tea cupping, a method used by tea experts to taste and rank teas. It’s a very useful skill for people who want to know more about tea variations and thanks to the staff at Tea Cozy who will be giving this tutorial, you can learn!

This is going to be a very special event! It’s an opportunity to learn tea cupping and attempt it yourself using equipment which may be unfamiliar to you while kicking back in the heart of the Arboretum! No where else in the world can you join the garden experience with a chance to learn a new tea brewing technique like we have in mind.

A very special thanks goes to the Arboretum Ambassadors for co-sponsoring this event, to Tea Cozy for coming down to give tutorials, and the UC Davis Global Tea Initiative (GTI) for donating the equipment.

The program is free; parking is free in Visitor Lot 5, at Old Davis Road and Arboretum Drive.
