Poll finds Sacramento region committed to environment

This month, Valley Vision released The Environmental Poll, a scientific survey that reveals how people in California's Capital Region prioritize their local environment, as well as the current policies and protections in place. The report comes as the fourth installment in a polling series conducted in partnership with Sacramento State's Institute for Social Research. With the intention of "putting the public back in public policy," the series is dedicated to capturing public opinion on important regional issues.

The Environmental Poll revealed that a majority of respondents feel deeply committed to their natural environment, but believe that decision-makers can do more to take action in the fight against environmental challenges.

On page 19, UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden is listed, together with other regional organizations, as supporting a sustainable environment in the Sacramento area.
