Join Rachel Davis, GATEways horticulturist for the UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden, as she shares how to participate in the upcoming City Nature Challenge (April 24-27) by using the iNaturalist app to document the natural world in your backyard or near your home, all while following proper social distancing.

Watch a prior presentation, download the corresponding PowerPoint and learn more about iNaturalist here.

How to watch on Facebook Live:

To tune into the program, you don't need a Facebook account, but you will need an account to ask questions via the comments section. If you just want to tune in, visit our Facebook page here at 10 a.m. on this day.

Ask the Garden Gnomes is a twice-weekly, Facebook Live streaming program where the public can pose gardening questions and/or learn about the natural world around them. It takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays in April.
